About These Terms
These terms set out the conditions under which Boon Capital ("we," "us," "our") offers its educational programmes and makes its website available to visitors. By enrolling in a programme or by using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If any part of these terms is unclear or you have questions before enrolling, please contact us before making a booking.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
Who We Are
Boon Capital is an educational programme provider based in Bangkok, Thailand. Our programmes are designed to support adults 40+ in developing financial literacy. We are educators, not licensed financial advisers. Nothing in our programmes, materials, or website constitutes financial advice, tax advice, or legal advice, and nothing should be taken as a recommendation to act in any particular way regarding your finances.

Our Programmes
We currently offer three programmes:
- A Reading Companion to the Thai Tax Year — A three-session programme covering the personal tax year in Thailand. Price: 5,400 THB per participant.
- Conversations on Inheritance — A weekend programme of two sessions on inheritance documents and family conversations. Price: 8,500 THB per participant.
- The Investing Apprenticeship — A four-month programme of monthly meetings for patient, in-depth investing education. Price: 11,500 THB per participant.
Programme schedules, session formats, and group sizes are published when each cohort is announced. We reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to programme content to reflect changes in relevant tax law, market conditions, or participant needs. Such adjustments do not constitute a material change to the programme and do not entitle participants to a refund.
Enrolment and Payment
A place in a programme is reserved when we confirm your enrolment in writing and payment has been received or a payment arrangement has been agreed. Places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis within each cohort.
Payment is due in full at the time of enrolment unless we have agreed a payment plan in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer to our Thai baht account; details are provided in the enrolment confirmation. We do not store card details.
Prices are stated in Thai baht and are inclusive of all session materials unless otherwise specified. VAT treatment follows applicable Thai tax regulations at the time of payment; we will provide appropriate documentation on request.
Cancellation and Refunds
We understand that circumstances change. Our cancellation terms are designed to be fair to both participants and to the small groups we maintain.
- 21+ days before first session: Full refund, less a 500 THB administration fee.
- 8–20 days before first session: 50% refund, or the full amount applied as credit toward a future cohort within 12 months.
- 7 days or fewer before first session: No refund. Credit toward a future cohort may be offered at our discretion.
- After the programme has begun: No refund for sessions already held. For multi-month programmes, we will consider requests for a partial credit in cases of significant unforeseen hardship, assessed individually.
All cancellation requests must be made in writing to [email protected]. The date of receipt of your written cancellation is the date used to calculate the applicable term above.
Programme Cancellation by Boon Capital
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a programme if minimum enrolment numbers are not reached, if a key facilitator is unavailable, or in the event of circumstances outside our reasonable control (including health advisories, natural events, or government restrictions).
In the event of cancellation by us, enrolled participants will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, or, where the programme is postponed, the option to transfer their place to the rescheduled dates or to receive a full refund. We will notify participants as early as practicable.
Participant Conduct and Group Environment
Our programmes depend on a respectful, open environment in which all participants feel comfortable contributing. We ask that participants:
- Treat fellow participants and facilitators with courtesy and respect.
- Refrain from recording sessions without written permission from Boon Capital and all participants present.
- Keep the personal disclosures of fellow participants confidential.
- Not use sessions for the purpose of promoting or soliciting business services to other participants.
We reserve the right to ask a participant to leave a session if their conduct is, in our reasonable judgement, disruptive or harmful to the group experience. In such cases, no refund will be offered for sessions remaining.
Programme Materials and Intellectual Property
All materials provided as part of our programmes — including reference cards, glossaries, reading lists, and session notes — are provided for your personal educational use only. They remain the intellectual property of Boon Capital. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or adapt these materials without our written permission. This does not affect your right to make personal notes for your own reference.
Learning Journals
Participants in The Investing Apprenticeship keep a written learning journal that is reviewed in confidence by the facilitator between sessions. The contents of your journal are your own personal document. Facilitators read journals only for the purpose of tailoring their session preparation to participant progress. Journal contents are not shared with other participants or retained by Boon Capital after the programme concludes. Physical journals are returned to participants; any digital notes held by the facilitator are securely deleted within 14 days of the final session.
Website Use
This website is provided for informational purposes and to allow you to make enquiries about our programmes. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in ways that do not infringe the rights of others.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on this website accurate and current, but we make no warranty that it is complete, error-free, or up to date at any given time. Programme prices and availability are confirmed at the time of enrolment.
Limitation of Liability
Our programmes are educational in nature. We do not provide financial advice, tax advice, or legal advice. Any decisions you make regarding your personal finances, tax affairs, or estate planning are your own, and we accept no liability for the consequences of such decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you in connection with a programme or this website shall not exceed the amount you paid to enrol in the relevant programme. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Changes do not affect the terms that applied to your enrolment at the time you enrolled. For new enrolments after the revised effective date, the updated terms apply.
